Ahhhh ... summer in Wisconsin. Soaking up the sun and drinking a cold beverage outdoors ... what could be better? The Henry Meier Festival Grounds (where the world’s largest outdoor music festival—Summerfest—is held), Miller Park, and the college and professional basketball games draw thousands of people into the city each year.
So, what’s the downside here? The parking fiasco that surely awaits is a headache that you’d have to be a little crazy to enjoy dealing with. Who wants to pay $50 for a date night at a Brewers game and then another $20 for parking? And this example is on the low end. To top this, it’s bound to be busy. This means waiting in long lines or driving around aimlessly, desperately searching for a cheap or free parking spot near your event.
