Time for something funky AND delicious! With loads of bright fruit on the nose and palate, New Age is a sweet wine, but its sweetness doesn't turn me off—it excites me. New Age is semi-sparkling and reminds me almost of a juice spritzer, and really, who doesn't love those? The winery suggests serving this on ice, with which I agree, but that makes it more of a spritzer and cocktail than a wine to sip and swirl; then again, who cares? I recommend this to anyone, especially moscato drinkers. I am not going to recommend a pairing, because this isn't really a "food wine." Hailing from Argentina, the blend is half malbec and half merlot. New Age rosé almost reminded me of a mamertino or Lambrusco. New Age is a really fun wine with a great taste and, and just like the others, is very affordable at around $14.
