This immediately strikes you with aromas of baked pear, lychee and soapy floral notes. This reminded me of the Peachy-O's candy. The flavors match the smells that this wine exhibits—lots of peach and apricot—and almost tastes like my grandmother's pineapple upside-down cake. Our first thoughts are that this is a great alternative to Riesling but if riesling is a turn-off ... has a great dryness or acidity to the candy-like white peach and pineapple Jolly Rancher. This lingers but in a delicate way ... the lack of severe acid is soft and makes you want more. I could see myself slugging this behind a beer fermenter while listening to polka at Lakefront Brewery's fish fry.

Meaning 'kisses,' Besitos is the only wine from Spain that I tasted for this issue. Looking for moscato? THIS is moscato. Effervescence tickles my nose as I smell and taste peach, nectarine and apricot. This would best be served along fresh summer fruit or, even better, fresh summer fruit sorbet. I think this is could be the poster child for moscato. It is everything it should be and I would recommend it as prime example of moscato for a first-timer.

This California moscato is laid back, with beautiful expressions of tropical fruit, without any obnoxiousness. This can be enjoyed by anyone, even those who typically stay away from sweet whites. A fellow wine enthusiast said to me, "Some moscatos are like meeting someone at a party and thinking 'This person’s cool,' then 5 minutes later trying to avoid them, whereas drinking this bottle is like meeting someone and thinking ‘I can hang out with this guy for an hour.’” I could not have put it better.

Perfect frizzante. The bubbles were the smallest and most refined, the palate tasted of more floral notes than ripe fruit, with a slight citrus note. I love half bottles, I think they are so practical, especially for two people. Not everyone likes to drink the same thing, obviously, and half bottles relieve the task of compromise. In addition, a half glass may be all you need and a half bottle can be passed around to more people. Imagine a beautiful summer evening, you just finished dinner in the backyard with six of your closest friends and you pull out a half bottle of a little something sweet to close the curtains; cheers to that.
