Pinot Grigios from Alto Adige in Italy are known to be graceful and elegant, with a finish that lingers on your palate. Being so close to Austria, Switzerland and Germany, these wines tend to take on an Alpine Style, which is more of a mineral-driven texture and flavor—a reflection of the cooler mountain climate. Alois Lageder has been producing wines since 1823 through five family generations. They make 24 different wines, focusing on specific characteristics of area and incorporate biodynamic practices to hone their uniqueness.
