We Say: While the green bottle scared off most people, this Maibock poured a deep golden color with a dense white head and was totally unskunked. The nose is laced with a light white grape sweetness, floral hop and bready sweet malts. Dark rum molasses-like with light pipe tobacco notes, this Maibock has a bolder sweetness uninterrupted by hop interaction. The sweet lingering finish is lightly dry, producing a beer that we enjoyed as the best overall Maibock of the batch!
