Every issue, Alcoholmanac Magazine features a few drink recipes we've picked up around Milwaukee. Our rules are simple:
All of our recipes come from Milwaukee - this means they can either be found at local bars or were concocted by a local mixologist for a particular product that can be found locally.
We (currently) don't feature drink recipes that can be found in any dusty book or a typical recipe archive online. There are too many other resources for that.
We think this is a nice touch and, because of those rules, you'll not likely find any of these recipes anywhere else. Sure, some of them are simple and some of them variations on a classic, but all of them can be made by you right at home or enjoyed at the Milwaukee bar the recipe hails from.
